BCSP researches whether security institutions respect equality between men and women as well as whether women participate in formulation and implementation of policies aimed at achieving equality. For this reason, employment of women, their equal status and promotion in security institutions remain in the focus of our research. Also, we pay special attention to the manner in which security institutions are addressing problems of other vulnerable groups (ethnic and sexual minorities, for example).
