      Jelena Pejic Nikic holds double MA, in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law and in European Studies, from the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, where she currently attends PhD studies. She holds a BA in International relations from the same Faculty, which awarded her as the best student of the generation in 2010/2011. 

      Pejic Nikic was a member of the XVI generation of BCSP interns (2014-2015) and since then has continued to cooperate with BCSP in the research of legal framework of the security sector.

      She successfully finished the internship program of the German Bundestag in 2016, as part of the International Parliamentary Sholarship (IPS).

      Field of her interest also encompasses special measures and parliamentary oversight.
