Milorad Timotić is the Vice-President of the Executive Board and one of the co-founders of the BCSP.
He graduated from the Military Academy in Belgrade in 1957, and the Higher School of Political Science in 1965. He took his MA of Political Science in 1972 at the Faculty of Political Sciences of University of Belgrade.
Furthermore, he finished the Royal College of Defence Studies in 1981 and the USA Command and General Staff College in 1985.
Until 1992 Mr. Timotić worked as the leader of projects and the researcher in the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Yugoslav Armed Forces, and the head of the department for liaison with the CSCE (now OSCE).
From 1997 he worked at the Centre for Civil-Military Relations.
His major scientific interests are military reform, relations between NATO and Russia, and the Partnership for Peace.
