EU stands as an example of a security community in which armed conflict between countries is effectively excluded. However, cross border organised crime continues to present one of the most significant challenges to its security, because it includes drugs, arms and human trafficking, and may well be connected to global terrorism. BCSP analyses how EU institutions answer these challenges, trying to comprehend whether chosen solutions are applicable in the context of Serbia.
