        • The project was carried out through the advanced education of young political leaders and professionals and the basic education of the wider public through various types of publications and e-learning.

           

          The main outputs of this project were:

          1. Forming a network of young leaders and professionals who share the European norms and understand the complexity of security aspects of European integration;
          2. Dictionary of basic security policy related terms;
          3. Background on European security;
          4. Online course and a Research paper on the normative impact of the EU on the security sector in Serbia.

          The project had two target groups and three groups of beneficiaries. The primary target group was 30 young political leaders and professionals, while their organizations and communities were the secondary target group. The beneficiaries were: wider academic community, public administration including the Parliament (Security and Defence Committee and European Integration Committee), Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Integration Office, and most importantly the security, defence, and intelligence policy and decision making community, and the wider public.

          Through the implementation of this project, the Belgrade School of Security Studies created a specialised knowledge base on security which is a valuable resource for academia, political parties, state administration, NGOs, media, and other interested public.
